Giselle

Where: Winspear Opera House | 2403 Flora St. 

What: Known for its music and choreography, Giselle depicts the story of a peasant girl who falls in love with a nobleman disguised as a commoner. Solaris: Presented by The Dallas Contemporary

When: 7:30 p.m., through March 24

Where: The Texas Theatre | 231 W. Jefferson Blvd.

What: Russian filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky’s Solaris is a science-fiction epic known for its depiction of love and humanity at a scale which demands to be seen on the big screen. The film will be shown alongside View Finder by Brian Fridge, one of the pieces in the series “In the Path of Totality,” which shows the stages of next month’s eclipse through many lenses. Amos Lee in Concert with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra

When: 7:30 p.m.

Where: Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center | 2301 Flora St.

What:  Philadelphia native and modern folk artist Amos Lee is performing his eighth album, Dreamland, in collaboration with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra this Friday. The album is a documentation of the struggles Lee has experienced in life. To get tickets, click here.

What: The nationally-recognized comedian will take the stage this weekend in Dallas. The Simon and Garfunkel Story

What: Listen to Simon & Garfunkel’s greatest hits performed by a live band this weekend. The event will showcase the story of the duo, including original film footage and images alongside the performance of hits like “Mrs. Robinson,” “Cecilia,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” and more. Sweeney Todd
