The Taming of the Shrew

When: 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. showtimes

Where: Wyly Theatre | 2400 Flora St. 

What: Shakespeare’s classic The Taming of the Shrew is taking on a new look this weekend, presented in the style of the 1950’s sitcom I Love Lucy. New New Festival

When: 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. showtimes 

Where: Wriggly Tin | 1906 S Haskell Ave., Henry’s Majestic | 2303 Pittman Ave., Four Corners Brewing Company | 1311 S Ervay St.

Annie

Sweeney Todd

A Night at the Movies- Music of John Williams

When: 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. showtimes

Where: Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center | 2301 Flora St.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival 

When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: The parade begins on Blackwell Street. and ends on SMU Boulevard. 

What: The Dallas St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival is back for its 43rd year, and this edition is sponsored by the Dallas Mavericks. The event will include a parade through Lower Greenville, a 5K run, and an all-day festival with food trucks, vendor booths, family activities, and more. Sunday, March 17

Cenicienta

When: 2 p.m.

Where: Eisemann Center | 2351 Performance Dr., Richardson

What: Cenicienta, a bilingual, one-woman performance, will take the stage this weekend. A modern spin on Cinderella, the show tells the story of a young poet trapped in the basement while preparing for a grand party her stepmother and stepsisters are set to host. Spring Celebration at Klyde Warren Park
